Quartetto Appassionata is a group of students and recent graduates from the Eastman School of Music. It was formed in June 2010 as a means to read chamber music and bring the joy of music to others. The Quartet has played numerous engagements around Central New York, including events for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, and Dr. David Fettler, former Assistant Conductor to Leopold Stokowski. The Quartet is planning a recital in Rochester on August 15th (2010), which will include the works of Samuel Barber and Ludwig van Beethoven.
